The Nanomaterials Research Center at the University of Anbar, in collaboration with the College of Science, organized a scientific workshop titled "Applications of Smart Alloys in Medicine" on Thursday, March 13, 2025. The event was attended by professors and experts in physics, medical physics, and nanotechnology applications.

The workshop aimed to highlight the latest advancements in the purification of smart alloys and their potential applications in the medical field.

The sessions covered preliminary procedures for identifying active materials, steps required for isolating and purifying each component separately, as well as discussions on the latest techniques for refining and separating smart alloys. Additionally, the workshop explored their biological effectiveness in various medical and industrial applications.
