Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda, and under the supervision of the esteemed Director of the Nanomaterials Research Center, Assistant Prof. Mazin Abdul-Hamid, the center organized a large-scale tree-planting campaign on the occasion of National Afforestation Day on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

This initiative was carried out in response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in alignment with the initiative of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to promote environmental awareness and support sustainability.

The campaign witnessed broad participation from researchers and professors at the center, with several trees being planted across its premises, reflecting the center’s commitment to environmental conservation and the enhancement of green spaces.
