Director of Nanomaterials Research Center Participates in University of Anbar Council

Dr. Abdulkarim Hammoudi Assaf, Acting Director of the Nanomaterials Research Center, participated in the twelfth open session of the University of Anbar Council for the academic year 2024–2025, which was held under the chairmanship of the esteemed University President with the presence of all council members.

The session began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an and the reading of Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq and Palestine. The council then discussed a number of important issues, most notably the ministry’s directives regarding preparations for the new academic year, the activation of electronic registration systems, and the enhancement of the role of student housing in serving students.

The session also included honoring one of the council members, the former Vice President for Administrative Affairs, on the occasion of his appointment as the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, in addition to discussing mechanisms for strengthening research quality, reviewing the latest university ranking results, and hosting several academic figures.

The participation of the Director of the Nanomaterials Research Center in this session underscores the center’s active role in supporting the university’s research plans and in developing areas of scientific cooperation that serve the academic and research mission of the University of Anbar.
