On January 15, 2026, the Nanomaterials Research Center at the University of Anbar received the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and the Vice President for Administrative Affairs during an official inspection visit aimed at reviewing the center’s operational status and supporting its development requirements.
The Vice Presidents were welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Mazen Abdul Hamid Al-Alousi, Director of the Nanomaterials Research Center. During the visit, the guests were briefed on the center’s infrastructure, recently acquired scientific equipment, as well as devices currently under procurement, in addition to the mechanisms adopted for equipping laboratories with the necessary requirements in line with recent scientific advancements in the field of nanomaterials research.
The visit also included discussions on a number of administrative, organizational, and scientific issues, and ways to overcome challenges facing the center’s work, in order to enhance institutional performance, support the research environment, and strengthen the center’s role in keeping pace with scientific and research progress at both local and international levels.
This visit comes within the framework of the university leadership’s commitment to supporting research centers and providing the necessary resources to enable researchers to perform their duties efficiently and effectively
