The Nanomaterials Research Center at the University of Anbar received a delegation from Al-Maarif University, headed by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Ibtisam Taher Al-Abbousi, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen scientific and academic collaboration between educational and research institutions.
The delegation was welcomed by the Director of the Nanomaterials Research Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Mazen Abdul Hamid Al-Alousi, along with the heads of departments at the center. During the visit, the delegation toured the center’s laboratories and reviewed the advanced scientific instruments available, in addition to learning about the nature of the research groups and the mechanisms for implementing joint research projects.
The visit also included discussions on prospects for scientific cooperation in areas such as joint research supervision, exchange of academic expertise, and the development of collaborative research initiatives, all of which contribute to supporting the scientific journey and enhancing the research capabilities of both institutions.
During the meeting, the Director of the Center emphasized the center’s openness to collaboration with distinguished academic and research institutions, and its commitment to utilizing its scientific and technical capabilities to support research activities, in alignment with the University of Anbar’s vision of advancing scientific research and achieving quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
At the conclusion of the visit, both parties highlighted the importance of continuing such scientific engagements due to their effective role in strengthening institutional integration and building sustainable scientific partnerships that serve the academic community and contribute to achieving the desired scientific development.
