The Director of the Nanomaterials Research Center at the University of Anbar, Assistant Professor Dr. Mazen Abdul Hamid Al-Alusi, participated in the work of the ministerial committee tasked with evaluating the eligibility of the Bachelor's program in the Department of Chemistry Sciences, College of Science – University of Diyala. This was conducted in accordance with Ministerial Order No. (1305-27095) dated 4/3/2026, as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to strengthen quality standards and academic accreditation in Iraqi universities.
The visit, which took place from 30/3/2026 to 2/4/2026, included reviewing academic program specifications and performance documents, as well as evaluating infrastructure and educational and research capabilities through field tours of classrooms, laboratories, and service facilities.
The visit also included meetings with faculty members, students, graduates, and employers, during which the program’s learning outcomes and their alignment with labor market requirements were discussed, in addition to reviewing continuous development plans and accreditation indicators.
This participation reflects the Nanomaterials Research Center’s commitment to supporting quality assurance initiatives and enhancing academic and research standards in higher education institutions.
